Elementary Curriculum at St. Paul
The curriculum at St. Paul Lutheran School seeks to enrich the mind and enlighten the heart through the timeless truths of God's Word. Our balanced and comprehensive framework promotes cognitive growth while accommodating diverse learning styles—offering flexibility to remediate the struggling student while enriching the gifted learner.
St. Paul Lutheran prepares children for their futures in every way—academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually. As one of the only birth-to-8th-grade campuses in the area, the early childhood, preschool, and elementary school program is comprehensive and convenient for families. An intentionally small enrollment allows for differentiated instruction, numerous extracurricular opportunities, and personalized attention for families.
Core Subjects
Religion
The foundation of our religion curriculum is the study of the Bible. Old and New Testament stories are read, meaningfully discussed, and applied to children's lives. Students in grades 5-8 have catechism three days each week, studying the Ten Commandments, Baptism, Holy Communion, Lord's Prayer, Apostle's Creed, and Keys and Confession. Chapel is held on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday mornings.

Middle school students demonstrating above-average aptitude are placed into an accelerated program.
